Valencia Basket opens its quarterfinals series against UCAM Murcia at La Fonteta

Valencia Basket men's team will have the support of La Fonteta to face the Liga Endesa quarterfinals series where will face UCAM Murcia will start with the game 1 (Saturday 18, 6:00 p.m., Fonteta, Movistar+ Deportes).

 

After finishing fourth position in the Regular Season, the Taronja team will have the home-court advantage in its favor in a series in which it faces a rival that finished with the same balance and against whom it had never faced in this phase of the season.

 

Xavi Albert's men will try to become stronger at home and extend a streak at home in national competition that is already six wins in a row.

 

One of those triumphs was precisely the visit of the Murcian team to La Fonteta two months ago, which ended with a local comeback and a very tough win by 83-82.

 

Although the precedents fall in our favor in the clashes at La Fonteta by 16-6, UCAM Murcia has been able to win in five of its last twelve visits to our gym.

 

Several players such as Chris Jones, Brandon Davies and Justin Anderson have missed practice sessions this week due to various physical discomforts and their participation will be decided before the game.
